Dr. Racheal Babayomi

Dr. Racheal Babayomi is a seasoned Senior Registrar in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), with over ten years of dedicated clinical practice. Her surgical expertise spans the diagnosis and management of complex conditions affecting the mouth, jaws, face, and neck - areas where precision and compassion must go hand in hand.

Beyond her clinical role, Dr. Babayomi is a passionate advocate for cooperative leadership and financial wellness among healthcare professionals. She currently serves as the President of the Lagos Medical Cooperative Multipurpose Society, having first assumed office on February 4, 2025, and been re-elected on January 28, 2026 - a testament to the trust and confidence her colleagues place in her leadership. Prior to her presidency, she served as the Society’s Treasurer from 2023 to 2025, where she honed her skills in fiscal transparency and member-centered resource management.

To strengthen her leadership capacity, Dr. Babayomi earned a Certification in Leadership Management in Health from the University of Washington, blending frontline medical experience with strategic, people-first governance. She is widely regarded as a bridge-builder - equally at ease in the operating theatre and the boardroom - and remains deeply committed to uplifting the professional and financial well-being of her peers.
